AI and automation for defense teams, with the environment question settled first.

For defense program offices and prime contractors: we design and build AI systems, workflow automation and software that run where your program says they can. We state what we don't hold (CMMC, FedRAMP and DoD Impact Level authorizations, and corporate personnel clearances) before any scope is written.

Before anything else

What we hold, what we don't, and what it means for your program.

Defense work turns on authorizations. Here is our position in plain terms, so no one discovers a gap after a scope is agreed.

What we don't hold

OrenGen does not currently hold CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD Impact Level, CJIS or HITRUST authorizations, is not a 21 CFR Part 11-validated system, and does not maintain corporate personnel security clearances.

On record: our UEI, NAICS code, SupplierGateway certification and BBB accreditation, set out for primes further down this page.

What that means in practice

Authorized environments. We don't offer an authorized environment of our own. If a task depends on CMMC, FedRAMP or a DoD Impact Level, we say so at the briefing.

Cleared work. Tasks that require a security clearance are identified at the briefing, and we don't represent a clearance we don't hold.

Where we fit today. Work whose data and environment requirements don't depend on those authorizations.

What we build

Four things we can build for a defense program.

Each starts as one scoped workflow, runs where your program says it can, and keeps a person accountable for every decision it touches.

Assistants that answer from your documents

Retrieval assistants that answer from approved manuals, directives and program files and cite the passage behind each answer, running on self-hosted LLM and retrieval (RAG) environments. Model-agnostic: works with leading commercial and open-source AI models.

AI Systems →

Workflow automation across existing systems

Requests, approvals and hand-offs routed through the systems a program already runs, through their APIs rather than rip-and-replace, with a log of who approved what and when.

Automation & Integration →

Document processing and program reporting

Fields extracted from forms, logistics records and reports into the system of record, with low-confidence fields sent to a person before anything is saved. Reporting is built from the same sources, so each figure traces back to its record.

Software & Applications →

Advisory for program offices and primes

For program offices: AI strategy, vendor evaluation and modernization roadmaps. For primes: fractional executive services (CEO, CTO, COO, CMO).

Executive Advisory →

Teaming with primes

For primes evaluating a small-business teammate.

We build AI, automation and software components; which environment and authorizations the work requires is settled with the prime at scoping.

Our founder, Andre Mandel, personally leads sales, solution architecture and client delivery. Delivery is supported by a distributed team of contractors engaged per project.

UEI: RX16QFYT6YM5

Primary NAICS: 541519 — Other Computer Related Services

SupplierGateway Supplier Impact Certification (US), Certificate No. SG06265178661562, valid June 1, 2026 – June 1, 2027. Verify at suppliergateway.com/verifycert.

SupplierGateway Supplier Impact categories: Digital Identity Verified, Minority Owned, Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business.

(SupplierGateway categories; not an SBA or federal SDB determination.)

Minority-owned small business.

Small business under SBA size standards (self-represented; not an SBA certification).

BBB Accredited Business.

How an engagement runs

Four stages. The environment is settled in the first.

The same stages apply to a pilot and to a program. Where the system runs, and which authorizations the work depends on, is answered first, not last.

01

Scope

Requirements, users, the data involved and the authorizations the work depends on, agreed with your program team or prime before anything else.

02

Blueprint

An architecture that names the environment, the AI models, the controls and every point where a person reviews or approves.

03

Deploy

Build and test inside that environment with your staff, then release in stages.

04

Handover

Document the system and hand it over with an operating cadence.

Defense FAQ

Questions contracting officers and primes ask first.

Does OrenGen hold CMMC, FedRAMP or DoD Impact Level authorizations?

No. OrenGen does not currently hold CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD Impact Level, CJIS or HITRUST authorizations, is not a 21 CFR Part 11-validated system, and does not maintain corporate personnel security clearances.

Does your team hold security clearances?

OrenGen does not maintain corporate personnel security clearances. If a task requires a clearance, we flag it at the briefing and do not represent a clearance we don't hold.

Can you deploy AI on infrastructure we control?

Self-hosted deployment is one of our deployment models: we build custom self-hosted AI environments (LLM and RAG), and the environment is named in the blueprint before anything is built.

Can you team with us as a subcontractor?

A prime can evaluate us as a small-business teammate using the identifiers on this page: UEI, NAICS code, SupplierGateway certification and categories, and minority-owned small business status. Which environment and authorizations the work requires is settled with the prime at scoping. No defense contract award is listed on this site.

Will AI replace analysts or operators?

No. Systems retrieve, sort, summarize and route. People review, approve and decide, and the system records who did what.

What should we leave out of a briefing request?

Anything classified, controlled or otherwise sensitive. Your organization, your role and a plain description of the workflow are enough to start.

Mission Brief · Defense

Start with the environment your work has to run in.

Bring one workflow and its constraints. We'll say plainly whether we can build it, where it would run, which authorizations it depends on, and which decisions stay with your people.
