Industries · Public Sector (OrenGov)
OrenGov is OrenGen Worldwide's public-sector practice. We build AI systems, software and automation for federal, state, local, education and defense teams, designed for cloud, self-hosted or hybrid deployment chosen per workload. Governance is built in, and systems are designed so your data, models and workflows stay under your control.

The mandate
Agencies answer to statute, auditors and the public. OrenGov is designed around these conditions from the first conversation.
Cloud, self-hosted or hybrid, chosen per workload by where the data must live. Systems are designed so your data, models and workflows stay under agency control, wherever they run.
AI prepares, sorts and retrieves. Staff review, approve and decide. Review points are designed into the workflow, not added after an audit finding.
Systems are built to log what happened, when, and who approved it, so supervisors and auditors can trace a decision back to its inputs.
We list what we hold, and what we don't, before a scope is written.
Procurement readiness
Contracting officers ask for identifiers first. These are the identifiers, supplier certification and accreditation OrenGen holds today, and the authorizations it does not.
Not held: OrenGen does not currently hold CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD Impact Level, CJIS or HITRUST authorizations, is not a 21 CFR Part 11-validated system, and does not maintain corporate personnel security clearances.

Solution stack
Each capability has its own page. For public-sector work we combine them into one governed system.
Assistants and agents for intake, casework and knowledge retrieval, built on self-hosted LLM and retrieval (RAG) environments. Model-agnostic: works with leading commercial and open-source AI models.
AI Systems →Workflow orchestration that moves requests, approvals and hand-offs across the systems you already run, through APIs rather than rip-and-replace.
Automation & Integration →Portals, internal tools and case applications for staff and the public, built around your records and access rules.
Software & Applications →Cloud, self-hosted or hybrid deployment, decided per workload by where the data must live, who operates it and what it costs to run.
Infrastructure →Human review points, role-based access, audit logging and AI-use policy, designed into the system from the first release.
Governance & Security →AI strategy, vendor evaluation and modernization roadmaps for program and IT leadership, and fractional executive services (CEO, CTO, COO, CMO) for primes and contractors.
Executive Advisory →Choose your path
Federal, state and local, education and defense buyers work under different rules. Each path explains what applies to you.
Program offices, CIO teams and prime contractors assembling small-business teams.
Federal path →State agencies, counties, cities and special districts modernizing resident services.
State & Local path →School districts, colleges and universities putting AI to work in administration and student services.
Education path →Scenarios
These are illustrative scenarios that show the kind of work we scope. They are not client engagements.
Illustrative scenario
A program office receives requests by email, web form and phone. An intake assistant classifies each one, prepares a reply for staff to approve and routes it to the right queue, logging every hand-off.
Illustrative scenario
A records team keys scanned applications by hand. Extraction fills the fields automatically; anything the model is unsure of goes to a person before it is saved.
Illustrative scenario
Staff search long policy manuals to answer routine questions. A retrieval assistant hosted on agency-controlled infrastructure answers from the approved manuals and cites the passage it used.
Illustrative scenario
A CIO office wants a clear view of AI options and risks. An advisory engagement maps use cases, deployment models and governance needs into a phased roadmap.
Procurement FAQ
What identifiers can OrenGen provide?

What small-business and supplier-diversity status does OrenGen hold?
Minority-owned small business. Small business under SBA size standards (self-represented; not an SBA certification). SupplierGateway Supplier Impact Certification (US), Certificate No. SG06265178661562, valid June 1, 2026 – June 1, 2027. Verify at suppliergateway.com/verifycert. Which certifications and authorizations does OrenGen not hold?
OrenGen does not currently hold CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD Impact Level, CJIS or HITRUST authorizations, is not a 21 CFR Part 11-validated system, and does not maintain corporate personnel security clearances.
Can the system run on infrastructure the agency controls?
Yes. We build custom self-hosted AI environments (LLM and RAG), and self-hosted is one of the deployment models we design for. The model for each workload is agreed during scoping, based on where the data must live and who operates it.
Which AI models do you use?
We are model-agnostic: our systems work with leading commercial and open-source AI models. The choice follows your security requirements, data rules and budget.
Who does the work?
Our founder, Andre Mandel, personally leads sales, solution architecture and client delivery. Delivery is supported by a distributed team of contractors engaged per project.
Is the goal to replace staff?
No. The systems we build take routine intake, routing, lookup and correspondence work off staff queues. People review, approve and decide.
How does an engagement start?
Request a briefing. We map the program's requirements, the data involved and the procurement path, then confirm whether OrenGov is a fit before any proposal is written.
Mission Brief · Public sector
A working session to map the program, the data it touches and the rules it runs under, and the architecture that keeps agency data, models and workflows under agency control.
